Wraping up
After a great weekend most of us have safely arrived at home again. We have had great fun, a crazy amount of antenna's and connected radio gear installed on a relatively small patch of campground. And of course good company, food and drinks, topped up with jokes and weird stories. But for most of us it gave an opportunity for experimenting with with antenna's that do not fit the garden at home. As it is not a contest, we believe that the numbers are not so important, but then

The second day
Final day of the event. We already had loads of fun making contacts in various modes and bands. Also some moments of frustration when we experienced QRM from each other, which is not strange with multiple stations including antennas close to each other. We just made the obligatory groups photo In

First day of operation
Now the fun really begins! We are able to operate with 6 stations simultaneously. However, due to inter station QRM we normally have 2 to 3 sets active at the same time. We also operate on QO100. Here is a picture how this looks like.

The team is complete
Today the last three hams have arrived on the scene. Anthony PE9K, Frank PA0FNI and Peter PA3FQH were welcomed with a nice cold beer. This was desperately needed as the temperature today is sizzling 32 degrees.

Preparations
We are currently making the last preparations for the lighthouse event. The first operators plan to arrive on the campsite on Wednesday august 12: Okko PH2CV Kees PA2KL Followed by: Jasper PA2JFX Hans PA3GHI On Thursday 13th Finally, on Friday august 14th: Anthony PE9K Frank PA0FNI Peter PA3FQH We will operate from the Augustenhof camping which is next to the lighthouse and also a convenient place for spending the night.
